To all Drag Racers…..

We all know how rough the burnout boxes and the asphalt area between them and the start line
concrete have gotten at SIR and the best solution to this is replacing it all with Concrete. I know
some of you may feel that all we should do is replace the current concrete pads but the problem
with that is the asphalt is deteriorating in this area to the point that you can no longer scrape the
rubber without pulling up asphalt.
Stan Heiber has volunteered to spearhead this project and we anticipate the costs to come in
at $12000.00. With this in mind we are starting to fund raise for this so that we can do the work
in the spring before the season starts. We need to have the funds raised by the 17th of March in
order to proceed with the project.
Stan has committed $500.00 bucks to kick off the fundraiser
